The Last Olympian by Rick Riordan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I am just so sad that this series has come to an end. Percy Jackson has been a hero that I have rooted for, feared for, cryed for, and celebrated with. I know, maybe I get a little involved in the characters, but this series has swept me away. I know, those of you who know me well enough to know I like almose everything I read, are just shaking your heads. I have to tell you though, this series ranks up in my top five favorite books (they just have to count as one book, because you can't read one and not the others). I will read this series again in the future I'm sure. When Rick Riordan was writing his acknowlegements, he called this the first Camp Half-Blood series, which I'm hoping means there will be another one. I usually don't like to start a series unless the whole thing is written, because I have a horrible memory for plot, and I hate when things feel unfinished....but I may have to make an exception if he writes another series (incidentally there is another adventure teen series called the 39 Clues that Emma is reading, and each book is written by a different author, and Rick Riordan wrote the first one). I hope any of you who take my recommendation to read this series isn't disappointed, because it really is a great series. It took me a total of seven days to finish five books. Pathetic?...maybe....fun?.....for sure!!!
