Band of Sisters by Annette Lyon
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
**spoiler warning**I had a hard time at first getting into this book, because a couple of the characters were somewhat unlikeable (as I guess they were inteded to be). As the book went on I actually found I really liked these woment and was aching for the struggles they went through while their husbands were deployed. As I was getting to the end, I hated to have to leave these sisters, but I was anxious to see where their lives were going to be at the end of deployment. I was disappointed that this book only covered the first 6 months of the deployment, not the whole year, I HATE waiting for a "next" book to come out. I have a horrible mind for remembering plot details, and usually end up rereading a book if I have to wait a while for the sequel. I would recommend this book to any of my LDS friends who want to have some small insight into what a spouse goes through when their husband is deployed.
