Teri worked Saturday night, so she spent the morning sleeping, while the rest of the family cleaned and played while listening to General Conference. When Teri got up, we had some lunch, and listened to the afternoon session of Conference. After the afternoon session was over, we decided we wanted to go to the park. Our West Jordan City Park (aka. Vetran's Memorial Park) is just down the street from us, and it is fabulous! It is huge, with a walking park around it, and it has about 3-4 playgrounds, one of which is a great big fortress. We walked around the path, and while we were walking we found a grocery sack, and Teri bribed the kids to pick up garbage as we walked (a penny a piece), they each picked up 26 pieces! They had fun seeing if they could beat each other to the litter, when Emma got a few a head of Nathan she helped him find some. It started to get yucky weather, so we let the kids play for a few minutes in the fortress. We also ran into our friend Kennedy & her family while we were there! We found our fence post.......when they were building the playground, to fund it they sold fence posts, bricks, etc., we bought a fence post & it has our name on it. It's been a fun day with our family! (since I am blogging challenged, I don't know how to label the pictures, but here they are....Emma & Nathan are pointing to our fence post, our kids & their friend Kennedy, the next 3 are the kids picking up garbage)
