Look Who We Met

This last season, we finally started watching the reality show, The Biggest Loser, and we are hooked! Even Brian who tried to resist got sucked in. We had so much fun cheering the contestants on as they battled their way towards a healthier life. My sister tried out for the season that just aired in her city, and made the callbacks (the top 25 picks of the 500 people they allow to tryout) but didn't make the final cut. There were 4 contestants from her city (2 sets of cousins), and she actually had been in line talking to one of the couples. We rooted for Felipe and Sione until the bitter end, but alas they didn't make it to the finale. We loved their fun personalities. Well, the other day on the radio they announced that our favorite contestants were in town doing an appearance just down the road from where we live. Of course we HAD to go meet them! Nathan got really shy and wouldn't let Sione hold him, but I did manage to get a shot of Felipe with him. They are such incredibly nice guys! Emma will never forgive me for not checking her out of school to meet them though. Sione had lost 126 lbs as of the finale, and Filipe had lost 135. Holy Cow!!!
