Okay, sometimes I pick up a book because I know it's going to make me cry. Silly? Maybe. I was not disappointed by this book. Nicholas Sparks books ALWAYS make me cry. His books are predictable in that and in the fact that there is going to be an unexpected twist at the end. I always know it's going to be there, yet it always catches me by surprise....this book was no exception. I love Nicholas Sparks. His romances are romantic yet clean from explicit sex or language. There is no doubt that they are a "beach read", sometimes that's what I need. The main characters in this book were likeable and human. A great combination if you ask me.
